Seeking the way, sharing the way

Which Life Stage Group are you a part of and/or do you fit into in terms of "life stage"?

Where do you feel God is leading you to serve Him?

At Central Church, our ministries are focused into three environments: Worship, Life Stage Groups and Small Groups.  All of our ministries are focused into one of these three areas and, so that we may be good stewards of our resources and blessings from God, nothing we do fits ‘outside’ of one of these environments.  It is assumed that all baptized believers are or are in the process becoming actively involved in each of these three environments.

  1. Worship is our Sunday morning large group gathering time during which we welcome guests, encourage one another and worship God.  Worship also refers to our entire congregation so that any ministry that would be of support to our whole church would fit into this environment.
  2. Life Stage Groups are our Sunday morning Bible class groups which give all age groups a place to study and grow with people from their own age group or ‘life stage’.  They are also the ‘medium sized’ group with which our members are to find a place to serve ‘one another’ and reach out to guests in a slightly more intimate level of fellowship both during class and at other times that the group meets for service, fellowship and outreach.
  3. Small Groups are a core part of who we are becoming at Central Church – smaller home/neighborhood based groups which meet regularly for study, pray, and accountability.  Every small group is different and will have different formats, activities, and ways they ‘do’ small group, but all groups are to move us toward intimate relationships that call us to greater depth in our walk with God and with one another.

***Please check all that you will commit to for 2009:***

Worship as the entire church
